The new TaylorMade R9 TP irons are the perfect blend of style and performance often preferred by the elite golfer. Available in 2 head design options, the R9 Irons (3-Sw) and the R9 TP (3-SW) give you the choice between two very high performing golf clubs that are used by countless TaylorMade Staff professionals across the globe.

TaylorMade Technicians designed the R9 series in two separate ways, the long and mid irons were designed to be extremely long and forgiving where as the short irons were designed for creativity and shot stopping control. The long irons feature a solid cavity which is supported by TaylorMades very own (VCC) Velocity Control Chamber which creates an immense area of ultra thin clubface giving that highly regarded trampoline effect at impact. This in turn makes getting the ball airborne much easier, allowing you to hit high towering approach shots and shot saving strikes.

TaylorMade have also incorporated their inverted cone technology into the longer irons as well as placing a vibration dampening layer into all the club heads for maximum response and solid feel. The shorter irons are what really separate this set from the rest as the scoring irons have been designed with a classic tear drop head shape that cuts through the turf without any unwanted drag.
